For standard affiliates, our commission rate is 10%. Coupon affiliates earn 2.5% commission. A “Coupon Affiliate” is an affiliate whose business model substantially consists of making coupons available. Whether an affiliate is classified as a Coupon Affiliate shall be determined by Silk Road Enterprises in its sole discretion.
Our program is also subject to a Minimum Annual Threshold requirement. No bonuses or commission will be due or payable to you unless and until you reach the Minimum Annual Threshold during the applicable program year. Once the Minimum Annual Threshold requirement is satisfied for the program year, payouts occur on a monthly cycle as described above. The Minimum Annual Threshold is $50.00. If you do not earn bonus credits or commission credits in aggregate excess of the applicable Minimum Annual Threshold, you will not be owed any commission and the credit balance in your account will be reduced to zero at the end of the program year. See the Operations Agreement for details.
A sub-affiliate is a website you have recruited into the Silk Road Enterprises Affiliate Program. In addition to the commission we pay the affiliate you referred, we also pay you 5% commission on this affiliate’s sales for their first 30 days as an affiliate.
Apply to the Affiliate Program and set the payee address to a popular charity and we will automatically send the commission check to them or you can email us at affiliates@silkroadenterprisecn.com after joining the program and we can have your commission rate set to 0%.
Yes. You earn commission credits on all sales referred from your site regardless of the specific products purchased.
If a customer returns a product for a refund, or if credit card charges are reversed, for whatever reason, your account will be debited for commission earned on that.
We track all visitors and sales from your website using a unique identifier that is embedded in your links.

Our translations are done entirely by people who speak Chinese, Japanese or Korean as their first language, our translators are based in the USA and in China. One of our translators is an English Teacher in Mainland China, one a Korean business woman in N.E China and one an Engineer in the USA. Our translations are checked and double-checked to ensure the best use of words. We frequently have to re-phrase text to suit the structure of the asian languages but we will at all stages in the process liase with you to discuss what we wish to change and why we want to change it in order to win your approval.

Broadly speaking, there are two methods of translating/transliterating Western names into Chinese or Japanese:
- Use of Chinese characters or Japanese Katakana for their phonetic value (transliteration). This is the most usual method. For many English names there is a traditional transliteration that is widely used. With rarer names new transliterations have to be created. This often results in different renditions.
