Can you hold a stock item for my future order?

Yes – for a 25% non-refundable deposit. We will hold the artwork for a period not to exceed 21 days. To hold a calligraphy artwork painting please e-mail us at info@chinesecalligraphyartwork.com and tell us which painting you would like to hold for a future order. 

How safe is it to purchase art online?

Very safe – When a customer makes a purchase from our online store, they are directed to pay on a secure, PayPal-hosted page. PayPal protects your financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. When you use PayPal, your financial information is not shared with us. Once your payment is complete, you will be emailed a receipt for your transaction.

How do I place an order?

  1. For custom made artwork, complete the online order form and click the submit button. You will be directed to the Shopping Cart. Click on the "Add to Cart" button for the item. Your cart will be displayed each time you add a new item. Use the continue shopping, or the "Continue Shopping" button on the cart page to add additional items to your card.

    For stock items, simply browse the products, and click on the "Add to Cart" button for each item you wish to purchase. Your cart will be displayed each time you add a new item. Use the continue shopping, or the "Continue Shopping" button on the cart page to add additional items to your card.
  2. When you have finished shopping and are ready to make your payment, click on the "View Cart" button, and then click on "Proceed to Checkout" button. You will be asked to sign in. Enter your username and password in the Account Login form. If you have not registered previously, click on the “Sign Up” link.
  3. Sign Up - The first time you make a purchase with us you will need to register and create a customer account. This account will store your name and billing/invoice address information. This only takes a couple of minutes to set up and is fully secure. When you have submitted your account registration, the store will send you an email with a link which you must click on to complete the registration process.
  4. Enter a promotion code to receive a discount and select your shipping region to calculate the appropriate shipping rate for your area. Click “Continue” On the next screen click the “Checkout with PayPal” button. You will be re-directed to PayPal.
  5. On the PayPal page, PayPal will indicate that they are the secure payment processor for www.silkroadenterprisecn.com. Enter your PayPal details. Once your payment is complete, you will be emailed a receipt for the transaction. We will contact you when we are ready to ship your order, and provide a tracking number.
What payment methods do you accept?

It is possible to pay for your order using your Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover Card, and Paypal. However, no matter what payment method you use, your order will be directed through Paypal’s secure payment processing.  Keep in mind that you can use a credit card without having a Paypal account.

We also accept money orders and checks. Please note that orders paid by check will be filled at the time of check clearence.

If you choose to pay by money order or personal check, please send via "registered" or "certified" mail to assure delivery.

What is a Promotional Code (Promo. Code)?

Promotional Codes are occasionally distributed to our newsletter subscribers and trade show attendees. Subscribe to our newsletters.

How are orders shipped?

Custom made articles are shipped from China via EMS. Stock Items ship via US Priority Mail, US Express Mail, Global Priority, and Global Express. Alternate shipping methods (UPS, Fedex, etc.) are available with an additional handling fee.

How is the artwork packaged and protected for shipping?

Our artworks are packaged in strong, purpose-built packages designed to protect the works during shipping.

How long will it take to receive my order?

All custom art pieces are delivered within 10-14 days of confirmed payment. Stock items are delivered within 3-4 days of confirmed payment. The time that it takes to receive your order depends on the type of payment made. Once the payment is confirmed, orders are given to the artist and usually created within 3 days snd shipped immediately thereafter.

What if I don't like the artwork received?

We try to do everything possible for our clients to be pleased with their purchases and our services. If we did not fulfill the order specifications or your merchandise was recieved defective, you may return it within 15 days of receipt and receive a free replacement or a full refund for the price of the artwork.Shipping charges will not be refunded.

NOTE: We can not be held responsible for delivery delays from the China Post, USPS or other postal services. All shipping and handling charges are excluded from our guarantee. Always inspect your item on arrival.

Do I get to see my artwork before placing an order?

For custom made orders - No. Commissioned artwork is not an automated process, but rather an artistic process requiring a great deal of time and effort by our artists and administrative team. We do place the utmost importance on the quality of our artwork and give special care and attention to each and every requirement given by our clients.

For stock items – the images in our online store closely represent the item you will receive. Due to monitor/screen color variations, actual colors may vary slightly from those displayed.

Does my artwork come framed?

The choice is entirely yours. Typically we ship your artwork unframed but your artwork can be shipped ready to hang if you choose. Please send us an e-mail so we can provide wou with a quote.

Who do I contact for help or questions?

Do you ship internationally?

We do ship everywhere, but there are a few countries that we have had issues with such as Italy and Ukraine.  We’re not sure if it’s due to their local postal system, but if you live in one of these countries or your local postal system is not very reliable, you may want to choose Global Priority shipping so that your order can be insured.   For shipping rates, please see above. Also be aware that depending on your country's regulations, International orders may be subject to additional duty fees.

Are tracking numbers available on shipments?

Tracking numbers are only available on Express deliveries with the US Postal Service.  Please do not confuse tracking numbers with Delivery Confirmation Numbers, which only let you know when the package has reached its final destination (not any points in between).
